It takes a little effort to release the magnet but overall we love it.
It takes a little effort to release the magnet but overall we love it. We bought it for the tractor but put it on a golf cart instead to pick up nails, screws etc. On gravel and black top driveways. It's amazing and has saved lots of tire repairs.

Just what I needed
I have a few acres & was starting to notice a lot of nails on the back property, the lane to the back property & even the driveway. I tried to pick up the nails with a handheld magnetic sweeper but it would have taken a really long time to sweep 3 acres by hand. I started searching Amazon for a magnetic sweeper I could mount to a vehicle & saw this magnetic sweeper & it looked like exactly what I needed. I mounted the magnetic sweeper to the front of my ATV & ended up picking up a lot of nails, screws, bolts, wire & staples. The magnetic sweeper works exactly as expected. I set the magnetic sweeper to hang 3 inches above the ground & made sure to drive no faster than 3 to 4 miles per hour.
