SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Essential

  • Processes customer orders received via phone, fax, email or walk-ins
  • Prospects for new customers by phone and in person
  • Ensures product is correct for customer’s application (based upon customer information & willingness to share required specifications.)
  • Processes requests for samples and literature
  • Prepares quote requests for customized products and ensures that the specifications are provided in an accurate and precise manner
  • Completes paperwork and administrative tasks associated with position
  • Follows up on orders to ensure they have shipped on time and provides shipping information to the customer when requested
  • Works with team and coach to achieve marketing plan goals
  • Quotes customers verbally, electronically or written and follows up as required
  • Builds/grows account base by providing magnetic solutions for customers and prospects
  • Uses WPCRM for daily customer contact activities (quotes, samples, literature, notes, and analytics)
  • Makes suggestions for Tradeshow booth design
  • Attends trade shows and follows up on leads/prospects
  • Provides Tradeshow booth set-up and tear-down

Marginal

  • Provides feedback to Marketing department on printed and web-based collateral
  • Other duties as assigned
EQUIPMENT: Personal computer, telephone, fax, copy machines, and scanners


KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:

  • Previous experience in the printing and/or advertising specialty industry
  • Previous sales/customer service experience
  • Product knowledge
  • Knowledge of internal company procedures and policies pertaining to lead times, shipping methods, credit and paper flow
  • Knowledge of standard business practices and procedures
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Proficient with WPCRM, Sales Analysis, Customer Inquiry and Part Number Inquiry modules of Aplus (Infor)
  • Familiar with processes of accounts receivable, work orders, inventory accounting, order entry, and purchasing

EDUCATION:

  • Two years of college or business training and 3 years previous sales experience or suitable combination of both
