Print Production Associate

Position Summary
Print/Produce orders using the proper equipment and packaging standards to support Ads On Magnets business and customers.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Essential
- Coordinate, monitor and fulfill print production jobs upon artwork approval from art department
- Maintain and abide by all safety standards while working with equipment
- The ability to multi-task multiple jobs on multiple machines is paramount
- Retrieve and execute work orders according to customer needs
- Inspect equipment and materials to detect and resolve defects and malfunctions
- Ensure print color and product sizes are accurate to the approved artwork form
- Perform minor repairs, installations and routine hardware and software maintenance
- Become expert on printing/decorating equipment used currently included Mimaki JFX200, Mutoh 1624, Flatbed cutter, Demak doming machine
- Prioritize jobs in order of ship dates to satisfy customer in-hands date
- Reports material shortages for production orders to Management in order to satisfy customer orders
- Help production staff with production of orders as needed
- Help quality control for the fulfillment process by ensuring that all products are verified by artwork and quantity before packing
- Perform other duties as assigned

EQUIPMENT:
- Operate large format printer, cutter, UV printer, domed decal machine, laminator, personal computers and peripherals
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:
- Attention to detail – orders must be accurate
- Operating knowledge of and experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Previous large format printer experience helpful
- Experience in Ad specialty and promotion industry a plus
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with frequent interruption
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
- Ability to see full color spectrum to ensure logo accuracy
- Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrates initiative and motivation
- Detail oriented
- Handles difficult situations with diplomacy
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of related onsite print production and customer service experience, including large and small format print
